The endocannabinoid system (ECS) works to establish and maintain human health, by regulating a wide array of functions such as sleep pattern, focus and optmization of the body overall, also known as homeostasis. The ECS consists of two primary cannabinoid receptors, CB1 & CB2. Cannabinoids and naturally occurring endocannabinoids interact with the CB1 and CB2 receptors, binding like a lock and key relationship. The physiological effects of cannabinoids vary depending on the location of the cannabinoid receptors that they stimulate.
Endocannabinoids produced by the ECS effects are localized. Introducing Phytocannabinoids such as CBD helps support the body’s own production of endocannabinoids which in turn nourishes the ECS communication systems.
Please email us at [email protected] if you are interested in retailing Sovereignty products.
At this time we do not ship out of the United States.
The basic premise is Purpose +, which is your daytime support, has cannabinoids/terpenes/and other botanicals such as cordyceps and other adaptogenic herbs plus some caffeine for high cognitive/energy support to be your best self in the daytime. Dream + has a cannabinoid/terpene/botanical profile to support your best quality restorative sleep at night. When you have fully-supported restorative sleep, you’re much more able to be your best potential the next day (and Purpose works so much better). A sort of feedback loop makes the pairing of these products work incredibly well together.
If you are sensitive to caffeine, cannabis products, or supplements in general, we recommend starting with ½ dose. Some have used up to two full doses of Purpose + with no problem if they need extra support, but please exercise caution.
As much as we believe in the efficacy of our products, there are some people that they won’t work well for as with any product. By enhancing bioavailability and potential synergistic effects with other botanicals, we think that our products will work well for most adults, but it’s mostly a matter of adjusting to your ideal dosage. There are many determinants such as digestion and genetics, however, that will influence how well or not they’ll work for you.
After you’ve initially mixed the powder contents into water, let it sit for 2-3 minutes and the water will eventually penetrate the powder clumps and will readily dissolve.
For best results, we highly recommend you take our formulas in purified water, coconut water, or a smoothie that is nourishing and hydrating. We don’t recommend taking it into something dehydrating like coffee or alcohol.
We strongly suggest consulting your practitioner regarding whether it is ok to take Sovereignty supplements while pregnant or breastfeeding. There is some caffeine in Purpose + as well as adaptogenic herbs, which are in Dream + and Purpose + can affect hormones, which, for some practitioners, would be reason to not consume Sovereignty’s main products.
Yes, all products are federally legal in the US. They are derived from hemp, which means they contain less than 0.3% THC and can ship nationwide.
If you are using prescription medication it is always best to consult your physician before taking any supplements.
Please be aware that there is some caffeine in Purpose + and dosages in general for any of our products can vary greatly. It is just the nature of botanical supplements, so feel free to experiment with dosage for your best support.
We never recommend driving after taking anything that has potentially sedative qualities. We only recommend taking Dream + ½-1 hour before sleep once you’re winding down and ready for bed.
There really isn’t any standard when it comes to full spectrum or broad spectrum because of the varying opinions of what really are the active components of hemp or cannabis. The difference between broad and full spectrum and isolate, at least when it comes to CBD products, is that in the extraction process (from plant material to oil), full spectrum oil contains all available cannabinoids, terpenes and flavinoids (including THC). Many companies dilute the full spectrum oil so that the amount of THC is below 0.3 % and legally considered hemp. Broad spectrum oil is the same but the THC content is removed to be in undetectable amounts. CBD isolate is all other cannabinoids and other active compounds are removed and you’re left with just CBD. This may sound like more bang for your buck for CBD consumers, but almost all experts believe that there is so much complexity to the hemp/cannabis plant that we are still unaware of, but that the other active components (especially the many cannabinoids and terpenes) that need to be present for the plant to really be effective.
Even though we have no THC in our products, we can’t guarantee that you will not fail a drug test. Some tests don’t specifically detect the presence of THC and there is evidence that CBD and other cannabinoids can potentially convert to THC during the digestive process.
Cannabinoids are some of the active chemical components (at least 113 have been identified) of the cannabis and hemp plant (known as phytocannabinoids). Mammals also have cannabinoids that our bodies produce called endocannabinoids.
CBD, or cannabidiol is the cannabinoid that has gotten so much attention for its panacea of medicinal benefit without the psychotropic effect of THC. Hemp is naturally rich in CBD, some strains having more than others, and many experts believe CBD may be even more important medicinally than THC. CBD and other cannabinoids support the body in so many ways because they aid the body’s ability to constantly work towards well-being and balance, or homeostasis.
CBG, or cannabigerol, is another minor cannabinoid in cannabis and hemp that is thought of as the “stem cell” of cannabinoids because it is the precursor (as CBGA) to other cannabinoids and is converted to other cannabinoids as the cannabis or hemp plant matures. The main reason why we feature CBG in Purpose + is primarily because of its neuroprotectant and antioxidant properties. It seems to have a mildly euphoric (but non-psychotropic) effect and seems to help with focus.
CBN, or cannabinol, is a minor cannabinoid found in hemp and cannabis that is thought of as the sedative cannabinoid, typically produced when cannabis gets old, and as THC oxidizes, it converts to CBN (those that have smoked older cannabis and experience a sleepiness rather than a high have experienced the sedative effects of CBN). This is primarily why (hemp-derived) CBN is featured in our nighttime formula, Dream +.
